Sweden, finally

12/07/19 – the day off was good. For so many reasons like taking a good ol nap early afternoon, being at the beach twice today or the opportunity to learn something new all day long, it’s been a great day.
Last night after writing the today’s blog post, I tried to go to sleep. As I’ve set up the awning, I’m sleeping on the floor of it and not in my tent. Because that’s easier that way. Not too much work, you know. So I put on some deet and tried hard to find some sleep but I simply couldn’t. The mosquitos have been relentless and didn’t even mind the sh**load of chemicals I just put on my freshly cleaned skin. After even trying to get what I wanted, by using the bug net for little blades travel bed, they didn’t stop at all. Around half past midnight I set up my tent within the awning just to be able to sleep at all… Not funny. A little while after that I noticed a bump in my bag. It wasn’t too bad but still a hazzle throughout the night. I didn’t find really good sleep but sleep at least. I’m currently thankful for the little things. Even though it may sound that I’m stressed or annoyed by such stuff, I’m actually pretty happy with it, deep inside. I highly appreciate all this because it reminds me of important lessons I already learned but totally forgot again.
We’re trying for an early start tomorrow morning. It’s a driving day again and we’re being on the road for at least 5-6 hours. This will put us another 400km (250 miles) closer to our goal. 1000km of 3000km done.
We also had the chance to repack some stuff to gain back a little space in the car. I will also try to find a better distribution strategy. We will see how that works out -.-
We’re all well and seem to start adjusting to the new situation (at least that’s my feeling right now)
Good night fellas 🙂
