Taking it easy now

24/07/19 – 500km down south, almost half of the way between lulea and umea, we found a great new camp ground where we now will stay at for a good week. 2 days ago we took of from Kiruna heading back where we came from. It’s been amazing even though the weather wasn’t as good as here. Rain, high winds and the never setting sun took a toll on us. So we packed up and left around lunch time and got to our stop in between kiruna and here where we stayed at over night. The place was nice but still too much north of where we’d like to spend some time. Luckily we managed to get up and packed quite fast the next morning so that we reached our, for now, final destination.

This place is the bomb. Everything we like is close to us or in short walking distance. There is even a Lego workshop on premises that campers are allowed to use for free. Minigolf and a nice kids playground is available as well. The weather is hot when the sun is out and a nice cool breeze comes through every once in awhile.

Neighborhood is quite and the place isn’t booked (which is great). There is an airport kinda close but you hardly see and hear any planes taking off or landing there.

We’re planning to stay here till next Tuesday and will then drive further down south to our next longer stay. Until we reach the ferry to go back to Germany.

There are a lot of things we’d like to do as long as we’re around. I’ll post an update as soon as there is more to tell.

Stay tuned,

Blade and Family
